| Converting a photograph into a painting |

Taking pictures of a landscape with your camera is one thing and actually painting a landscape is another thing. Every now and then you get a feeling "what if i could paint this great landscape on a canvas".
Well if you know how to take great shots with your camera and you have a copy of photoshop you can easily achieve the effect of a painting done on a canvas. Just follow this tutorial. Start by opening the photograph that you’d like to convert in a painting. |

| From filter menu select artistic>>dry brush. |

| Adjust brush size, details and texture. We used the settings below. |

| Your photograph will chnage to an artwork done with paint and brush. |

| Now in next steps we’ll add canvas texture to simulate the effect of a painting done on a canvas. From filter menu select artistic>>rough pastels. |

| In rough pastels window apply settings as shown. Make sure you select "canvas" in texture option. |

| This will apply a canvas like texture to our painting. |
