Illuminating a Room With Colored Light |
| In this tutorial we’ll illuminate a normal room shot with some colored light.
We’ll start working with this image. |

| From filter menu select render>>lighting effect. |
|
|
| Use lighting settings as shown. Take any color of your choice. |
|
|
|
|
| From layer pallete change the color mode to saturation. |
|
|
|
|
| Duplicate the layer and change the color mode to soft light. |
|
|

Smokin’ hot pizza - Creating smoke

| Everytime you see print ads for food products, one come across pictures of pizza, coffee etc with smoke coming out from them. The smoke gives an impression of fresh and very hot food item. In this tutorial we’ll tell you how to create smoke coming out of a pizza. Start by opening an imae of a pizza. |

| Using elliptical marquee tool create an ellipse. |
|
|
| Press Ctrl+Alt+D to apply feather to the selection. Apply settings as shown. |
|
|
| Create a new layer and fill the selection with white color. |
|
|
|
|
| From filter menu select distort>>twril. |
|
|
| Use settings as shown. |
|
|
| Press Ctrl+F to apply the effect again. |
|
|
| Reduce the opacity to 50% from layer pallete. |
|
|
| Duplicate the layer and press Ctrl+F to apply the effect again. |
|
|
| Now duplicate the layers and place it at the different areas of the pizza. |

Creating a carpet with texture
|
| Start by opening a new file. Using gradient tool, fill the background with dark brown to green color. We used radial gradient. |

|
|
| From custom shape tool select ornament 2 shape and create with some different color. |
|
|
|
|
| Change the color mode to multiply. |
|
|
| Press Ctrl+E to merge the layers and then form filter menu apply texture>>texturtizer. |
|
|
| Use a canvas as texture type and apply settings as shown. |
|
|
