Create a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangular shape tool.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Create a vertical ellipse using elliptical shape tool.
Select the ellipse using direct selection tool. Using convert point tool click on the top node. Duplicate the layer.
Change the anchor point of the layer to the bottom by clicking the bottom of reference point location icon.
Rotate it.
Similarly create another duplicate with the same rotation.
Select both petals. Duplicate. Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select flip horizontal.
Select one of the petals. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Right click the layer and select copy layer style. Select all the lotus layers. Right click the layer and select paste layer style. Move the layer order of the petals to match the image below.
Type company name etc. using a nice font.

Custom Design for a Mug Print
Start by typing "w".
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Type rest of the text.
Select part of a text using type tool.
Change color of the selected text.
Using custom shape tool create a heart shape.
From edit menu select define brush preset. Name the brush preset "HEART".
Press F5 to open brush settings. Select the brush preset you created in previous step. Adjust settings as shown.
Apply the brush in a new layer.
Create two big heart shapes using custom shape tool.
Create a swoosh below the massage using brush tool.
The design for printing on mug is ready. It’s time to preview this design by wrapping it on an actual mug image. Open an image of a mug.
Select and merge all design layers. Drag the merged layer on the mug file. Press Ctrl+T. Scale it down to the size of mug.
Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select warp.
Adjust nodes according to the shape of mug.

Designing a Brochure Cover
Start by creating a rectangular shape using pen tool. We’ll keep sides non uniform.
Create another rectangle and use different color.
Create some more rectangles.
Create some big black shapes to serve as placeholder for images.
Open the image you want to place on the brochure.
Ctrl+Select the big black rectangle to get the selection below the image layer.
Click add layer mask from the bottom of the layer palette.
Similarly add other images in the brochure and mask in their respective frames.
Create a world shape using custom shape tool.
Type "Global Education Council" to the right of the world shape.
Add other text highlights in an empty rectangle using a nice font.
