New Born Baby Egg Crack |
| Start by opening an image of an egg. |
|
|
| Create egg selection using lasso tool. Press Ctrl+Alt+D to feather the selection. |
|
|
| Press Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy the selection in a new layer. Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select rotate 90°cw. Fill the background with a solid color. |
|
|
| Create an elliptical selection using elliptical marquee tool. |
|
|
| Press Ctrl+Alt+D to feather the selection. |
|
|
| Create a new layer. Fill the selection with dark gray color. |
|
|
| Create random crack shape selection using lasso tool. |
|
|
| Press Ctrl+Alt+J to cut the selection in a new layer. |
|
|
| Move, rotate and scale the top portion of the egg as shown in the image below. |
|
|
| Duplicate the main egg layer and move up the layer that is below in layer order. |
|
|
| Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown. |
|
|
|
|
| Similarly create the back portion of the broken upper half of the egg. |
|
|
| Create a cutout of a baby. Insert the cutout in egg file and move it below the front egg layer. |
|
|
| Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool and move it to towards the bottom of the file. |
|
|
| Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown. |
|
|
| Duplicate the layer. From style window apply a preset stroke style " 60% Gray 2pt No Fill". |
|
|
|
|
| Type your wishes using a nice font. |

Turn On the Car Headlights |
| Start by opening an image of a car. Duplicate the car image and hide it. |
|
|
| From filter menu select render>>lens flare. |
|
|
| Apply settings as shown. |
|
|
|
|
| Unhide the car layer and similarly apply lens flare on the other side. |
|
|
| Change the layer mode to lighten. |
|
|
|
|
| Select both the layers and press Ctrl+E to merge. Duplicate the layer and change the layer mode to color burn. |

Awsome Text Effect |
| Start by typing "AWSOME" in a new file. Duplicate the layer, fill with blue color and hide it. |
|
|
| Double click the original text layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown. |
|
|
| Reduce the fill value to 0%. |
|
|
|
|
| Unhide the duplicate layer. Form filter menu select blur>>radial blur. |
|
|
| Apply settings as shown. |
|
|
|
|
| Duplicate the layer and move one of the blurred layer below the main text layer. |
|
|
| Select gradient tool and change the mode on top bar to difference. Create a red to green gradient. |
|
|
| Apply the gradient in radial mode to the background. |
|
|
| Apply same gradient several times. |
|
|
|
|
| From filter menu select stylize>>glowing edges. |
|
|
| Apply settings as shown. |
|
|
|
|
| From filter menu select stylize>>find edges. |
|
|
|
|
| Press Ctrl+I to invert the color. Duplicate the layer and change the layer mode to multiply. Select both layers and press Ctrl+E to merge. |
|
|
|
|
| Press Ctrl+U to open hue/saturation window. Apply settings as shown. |
|
|
|
|
| Double click the text layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown. |
|
|
 |
| Select the top blurred layer, press Ctrl+U to open hue/saturation window. Apply settings as shown. |
|
|
| Ctrl+Click the main text layer thumbnail to get the selection. Select background layer. Press Ctrl+J and to copy the selection in a new layer. Move this layer on top of all layers and change the layer mode to soft light. |
