Abstract Radial Blurred Background
Start by creating a new file. Fill the background with the color of your choice.
From filter menu select render>>fibers. Apply settings as shown.
From filter menu select blur>>radial blur. Apply settings as shown.
Duplicate the layer. From filter menu select sketch>>halftone pattern. Apply settings as shown.
Change the layer mode to color burn.
Duplicate the layer. From filter menu select distort>>twirl. Apply settings as shown.
Change the layer mode to lighten.
Create some snowflake 1shapes using custom shape tool.
From filter menu select blur>>radial blur. Apply settings as shown.
Press Ctrl+F several times to apply the effect again.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Duplicate the layer. Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select flip horizontal. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Change color overlay with the settings shown.
Change the layer mode to pin light.
Create ornament 8 shape using custom shape tool.
From filter menu select blur>>radial blur. Apply settings as shown.
Change the layer mode to soft light.
Select the top layer. From layer menu select new adjustment layers>>hue/saturation.
Apply settings as shown.

Cartoon Style Navigation Header
Create a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangle shape tool.
Using custom shape tool (U), select a Flower 6 shape.
Enable “add to shape area” at the top bar.
Create this flower shape on top of rounded rectangle.
Create a flower shape on the other side of the header too.
Using direct selection too select the three shapes and press combine button at the top bar.
Fill the resulting shape with a color of your choice.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.
Duplicate layer. Remove layer style. Using direct selection too select nodes of the left side of the header. Press delete. Using pen tool complete the path as shown in the image below. Fill with a similar but lighter shade of color.
Create a circle using elliptical shape tool. Place on one rounded edge.
create more circles and place according to the image.
Create a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangle shape tool.
Press Ctrl+T. Right Click and select distort.
Adjust the nodes to get a shape as shown.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.
Insert a few pet cartoons and place in the empty area.
Type button links over the circles.
Type site name in the inner rounded rectangle. Also a punch line at the bottom of the header will make it more interesting.

Time Lapse Conceptual Animation
Start by opening a sky image.
Create a rectangular selection using rectangular marquee tool towards the left edge.
Press Ctrl+J to duplicate the selection in a new layer. Move it to the right edge of the image.
Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select flip horizontal.
Merge both the clouds layer. Select stamp tool (s) and start cloning the area of the joint.
Create a duplicate of the sky layer. Move the original layer towards the left and a duplicate towards right.
Merge both the layers. these steps are essential for creating a seamless loop of the sky animation.
Insert a clock image in the main file.
Change the layer mode to linear burn.
Knock out the hard edges using eraser tool with a soft brush settings.
Create a selection of the clock hand.
Press Ctrl+Shift+J to cut and paste the selection in a new layer.
Clone to fill the cutout and the second hand.
Unhide the previously hidden clock hand layer.
Create a duplicate of the hand layer. Press Ctrl+T. Move the anchor point to the center of the hand.
Rotate the hand 60°.
Create 4 more duplicates of the hand layer and keep rotating at the 60° increments.
Open animation window. For the first frame hide all hand layers.
Duplicate frame. Move the clouds layer towards the left. Take care to move as much as to achieve the initial position of the clouds after movement.
Click tween button in animation window. Apply settings as shown.
Select and remove the last frame in animation window.
Select the first frame. Unhide the original hand layer.
Select the second frame. Hide the original hand layer and unhide the second duplicate of the hand layer.
Similarly keep selecting successive frames and hiding/unhiding clock hand layers.
Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S to save an optimized animated GIF.
