Creating Content Boxes for Websites |
| Start by creating a rectangle using rectangular shape tool. |

| Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |

| Create another rectangle using rectangular shape tool. Apply same layer style. |

| Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |

| Type heading using a nice font. Apply some drop shadow. |

| Insert an image. |

| Create a rectangular selection using rectangular marquee tool. Click add vector mask button from the bottom of the layer palette. |

| Apply a thin stroke layer style. |
|
|
| Similarly insert more images and apply same layer style. |

Smooth Blending Old and Young Faces |
| Start by opening an image of a young lady with face close up. |
|
|
| Insert another image of an old woman with the same face angle. |
|
|
| Reduce the opacity to see the below layer. Scale down and place the old woman’s face according to the face below. |
|
|
| Click add vector mask button from the bottom of the layer palette. |
|
|
| Select a black to white gradient in linear mode. Apply the gradient from left to right. |
|
|
| Select black as a foreground color. Select the brush tool. and apply it to remove unwanted areas. |

| Change the layer mode to luminosity. |

Applying Print on a Plain Cloth |
|
Start by opening an image of cloth.
|
|
|
| Insert another image you want to print on the cloth. |
|
|
| Create selection of the print using polygon lasso tool. |
|
|
| Press Ctrl+Shift+I and Press Delete to knockout the background. |
|
|
| Press Ctrl+T and rotate the image 90°. |
|
|
| Scale up the image. |
|
|
| Press Ctrl+T. Right Click and select Warp. Adjust the nodes as shown. |
|
|
| Change the layer mode to color burn. |
|
|
