| Start by creating a circle using elliptical shape tool. |

| Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |

| Duplicate the layer and scale it down. Remove the layer style. |
|

| Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |
|
|
|

| Duplicate the layer again. Scale down and remove the layer style. |

| Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |

| Duplicate the layer . Scale down to 50%. Remove the layer style. |

| Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |

| Select and merge all layers. Duplicate the layer several times. Scale down and place as shown. Reduce the opacity of biggest circle. |
|

| Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool. Move this layer just above the biggest circle layer in layer order in layer palette. |

| Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |
|
|
|
|
| Type in all the details. You can use it as a background for book cover, flyer, poster, signature background etc. |

Start by creating a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangle shape tool.

| Press Ctrl+T. Right Click and select distort. Adjust the nodes to get the shape as shown. |
|
|
| Press and hold Alt key and keep pressing down & right arrow key to create 3D extrusion. |
|
|
| Select and merge all the layers. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |
|
|
|

|
|
| Ctrl+Click the layer thumbnail to get the selection. From select menu select modify>>contract. Contract the selection by 2 pixels. |

| Create a new layer and fill it with any color. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |

| Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool. Press Ctrl+T. Right Click and select distort. Adjust the nodes to get the shape as shown. |

| Apply same layer style. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Change the gradient angle in gradient overlay settings. |

| Create a rounded rectangle for the screen using rounded rectangle shape tool. Press Ctrl+T. Right Click and select distort. Adjust the nodes to get the shape as shown. |

| Create circular frame shape using custom shape tool. Press Ctrl+T. Right Click and select distort. Adjust the nodes to get the shape as shown. |

Designing a Super Cool CD Sticker |
| Start by creating circular frame shape using custom shape tool. |
|
|
| Using direct selection tool select inner nodes as shown and press Ctrl+T. |
|
|
| Scale down the points to create a small hole. These outer and inner circle size should be in synch with actual CD dimensions. |
|
|
| Fill it with gray color. |
|
|
| Duplicate the layer. Again select the outer nodes and scale down a bit and select inner nodes and scale up a bit both using direct selection tool. |
|
|
| Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Create a big circle using elliptical shape tool. Press Ctrl+Alt+G to create a clipping mask. |
|
|
| Similarly create two more circles with different colors and different placement. Press Ctrl+Alt+G to create a clipping mask for each layer. |
|
|
| Create a sun shape using custom shape tool. |
|
|
| Press Ctrl+Alt+G to create a clipping mask. |
|
|
| Change the layer mode to luminosity. |
|
|
|
|
| Similarly create more shapes according to the topic of your CD ROM. We’re creating a CD ROM for Horoscope software so we are placing suns and planets etc. You can also insert images too. Create clipping mask for all shapes. |

| Create a circle almost half the size of outer circle. Using type tool click on this path to type your text on it. |
|
|
| Apply some outer glow layer style. |
|
|
| Similarly create a path for the website url and place near the bottom. |
